The Foundation also supports organizations in Burlington and Camden Counties New Jersey through Organizational Effectiveness and General Operating Support grants. However, as these funds are limited, the grants will be smaller and fewer in number. In addition, this funding for South Jersey typically supports only organizations which have a special emphasis on serving the educational and development needs of pre-school and elementary age children in these communities and that do not have wide access to other sources of funding.
Non-profit organizations in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties are eligible to apply. In southern New Jersey, applicants from Burlington and Camden counties may also apply. To determine which of the grant-making areas your organization may qualify for, please visit: https://www.philafound.org/ForNonprofits/HowDoIStart/tabid/236/Default.aspx.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
For General Operating Support, up to 6% of the organizations' budget, no more than $30,000 will be supported. For Organizational Effectiveness Grants, the foundation will award up to $30,000.
