The Association of American Educators (AAE) is the largest national, non-union, professional educators' organization, advancing the profession by offering a modern approach to teacher representation and educational advocacy, as well as promoting professionalism, collaboration and excellence without a partisan agenda. Classroom grants can be used for a variety of projects and materials as detailed below. Funds must be used within one year of the application deadline.

Classroom grants can be used for:
Classroom grants are available to all full-time educators who have not received a scholarship or grant from AAE in the past two years. The following states have their own competitions: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, and Washington. Applicants from those states will be automatically entered into their state-specific contest after completing the online application form.
Applications are accepted twice a year. Autumn applications are to be submitted by October 1, annually. Spring applications are to be submitted by March 1, annually.
Grants are available for up to $500. Cost sharing matching is not required.
