The Crime Victims' Assistance Fund for Child Abuse and Neglect (CA) seeks to ensure that Kansas crime victims: are aware of their rights, have their rights protected, are aware of the services available to them, and have access to quality services. The State Crime Victims' Assistance Fund for Child Abuse and Neglect (CA) was established in 1994 to fund programs whose primary function is preventing child abuse and neglect or providing residential services or facilities to victims of child abuse or neglect. Grants made to programs will be based on the numbers of persons served by the program and will be made only to programs aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect or providing residential services or facilities to victims of child abuse or neglect.
