    Grants are not restricted to issues dealing exclusively with women, but are made to organizations focusing on at least one of the following areas: Arts and Culture; Education; Environment; Health; and Social Services

  • Eligibility Details

    Eligible applicants are 501c3 organizations with operating budgets of less than $1.5 million. Applicants should be headquartered and provide services within the Greater St. Louis Community which includes the City of St. Louis and/or the following counties: St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson and Franklin in Missouri or St. Clair, Madison and Monroe in Illinois.

    Deadline Details

    The SOS grant program has a 4-stage application process. To begin this process, applicants were to submit a Letter of Inquiry by September 23, 2022. Successful applicants will then be invited to submit a full grant applicant and schedule a site visit with SOS members.


    A similar timeline is anticipated annually.

    Award Details

    Individual awards generally range from $5,000 to $25,000 each. Multi-year grants are less common, but may not exceed $33,333 per year - totaling $100,000.
